Remote Excel/PowerPoint/Document Style Experts (Part Time)

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly skilled Excel, PowerPoint, and Document Style Expert to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong eye for design, data organization, and document formatting who can transform raw content into polished, professional deliverables.

On this project, you will be asked to improve a given document, spreadsheet, or slide deck based on a pre-set style guide and then document all of the changes you made. You will be paid per task, not hourly.

$200: document

$300: spreadsheet

$400: slide deck or multi-file type task

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Advanced proficiency in:
    • Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, charts, dashboards)
    • Microsoft PowerPoint (slide design, animations, storytelling)
    • Microsoft Word or Google Docs (formatting, styles, layout)
  • Strong understanding of document design principles (alignment, spacing, hierarchy, readability)
  • Ability to work with large datasets and present them in a clear and meaningful way
  • High attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Strong communication and ability to interpret client or team requirements
  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects

Contract and Payment Terms

  • You will be engaged as an independent contractor.
  • This is a fully remote role that can be completed on your own schedule.
  • Projects can be extended, shortened, or concluded early depending on needs and performance.
  • Your work at Mercor will not involve access to confidential or proprietary information from any employer, client, or institution.
  • Payments are weekly on Stripe or Wise based on services rendered.
