Mediafly is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our Development sales team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in generating new business opportunities within the enterprise segment. As an Enterprise SDR, you will be responsible for identifying and qualifying potential clients, establishing initial contact, and nurturing leads to create a robust sales pipeline for our Account Directors.
Responsibilities of a Sales Development Representative:
- Identify potential customers and generate new business opportunities for the company based on the company’s Ideal Client Profile and identify complex customer challenges and business pains in order to educate prospects on the value of Mediafly solutions.
- Qualify inbound and outbound leads through strategic outreach via phone calls, emails, and social media platforms
- Work directly with our Account Directors to create and prioritize strategic target account lists within a defined territory. Identify and generate new business opportunities to fuel up-market growth.
- Ensure client interactions and prospecting efforts are documented in a CRM and maintain the quality of that data.
- Represent Mediafly’s products and services, starting with a comprehensive understanding and leading to consumer research to identify how our solutions meet needs.
- Stay informed about Mediafly’s product and solutions, and stay on top of industry trends.
- Participate in ongoing training sessions to enhance product knowledge and sales techniques.
- Deliver and exceed goals and committed targets by responding with a quality pipeline, focused on net new accounts.
- Manage and update customer information and activities in the CRM system.
- Work closely with marketing teams to align sales efforts with marketing campaigns.
- Review sales recordings and call transcripts to identify areas for improvement.
- Develop your professional brand and engage with your prospects to build trusted relationships by providing insights tailored to their specific needs and interests.
We would love to work with you if you have:
- 2+ years of full-time sales, business development, or sales development experience in a SaaS environment, preferred.
- Experience with prospecting and communicating with senior-level executives.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, and excellent negotiation and persuasion abilities.
- Ability to thrive when being held to goals and metrics.
- Strong understanding of customer needs and deliver a tailored value proposition resulting in a successful product sale.
- You take initiative, multi-task, and manage time effectively and independently.
- Ability to manage and maintain strong relationships with clients and identify expansion opportunities resulting in new business.
- Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) preferred.
- Proficiency in sales engagement software (e.g., Apollo) preferred.
- Knowledge of sales methodologies for the managed services field.
- Ability to understand and articulate complex technical solutions.
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
- Customer-focused approach with a dedication to delivering value.
- Ability to thrive in a team-oriented and collaborative environment.
$45,000 – $55,000 a year
This role is eligible for commission in addition to base pay. Commission is uncapped, with earnings tied directly to individual performance and target achievements.
