About the Role
We are looking for a Customer Onboarding Coordinator to own and manage the end-to-end onboarding experience for new merchant customers. This is a newly created role driven by company growth and increasing customer volume. You will act as the main point of contact for new clients, guiding them through setup, training, and activation to ensure a smooth and confident transition into using the platform.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working directly with customers, simplifying complex processes, and thriving in a fast-paced fintech environment.

Responsibilities

  • Own the full customer onboarding journey from application review through account setup and go-live
  • Coordinate the setup, configuration, testing, and shipment of payment terminals and related tools
  • Guide customers through onboarding steps via calls, emails, and live training sessions
  • Create and maintain onboarding documentation, guides, and instructional materials
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Support, and Technical teams to resolve issues and improve processes
  • Track onboarding progress, identify bottlenecks, and proactively drive successful customer launches
  • Ensure customers feel confident, informed, and supported from day one

Requirements

Must-have

  • Advanced English level, both written and spoken
  • Valid visa to travel to the United States
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to guide customers through new processes
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple onboarding cases simultaneously
  • Ability to simplify technical or complex information into clear, actionable steps
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
  • Strong customer-first mindset and commitment to delivering an excellent onboarding experience

Nice-to-have

  • Experience in the payments industry or fintech environment
  • Background in customer onboarding, customer success, operations, or SaaS companies
  • Familiarity with payment terminals, gateways, or CRM tools
  • Experience creating training materials, documentation, or instructional videos
  • Technical aptitude and interest in learning new systems and tools

Benefits & Modality

  • Monthly compensation around USD 1,000-$1,800, depending on experience and seniority
  • 100% remote role working as an independent contractor
  • Paid Time Off: 10 days of paid time off per year
  • Paid holidays: 9 paid holidays per year, including US holidays and up to 3 local holidays based on your country of residence
  • Full-time schedule, Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST
