About the Opportunity
Pearl offers experienced Technical Customer Service professionals the opportunity to participate on our platform as independent contractors. This is not an employment position and does not include employee benefits.
As a Participating Expert, you may choose to respond to customer inquiries related to billing, cancellations, and account issues across various vendors, providing support via secure chat or phone.
This flexible engagement model allows you to leverage your customer service experience while maintaining full control over your schedule and participation level.
What You’ll Do:
• Respond to customer inquiries related to billing, cancellations, and account issues
• Provide clear, accurate guidance across a variety of third-party vendor platforms
• Troubleshoot customer concerns and deliver efficient resolutions
• Communicate with customers via chat and/or phone support
• Maintain a high standard of professionalism and customer satisfaction
You have full control over:
• Setting your own availability
• Choosing which customer questions to answer
• Engaging with customers via chat or phone
• Providing technical and billing-related support remotely
• Determining how often you participate
There are no long-term commitments required.
Compensation
Participating Experts are compensated on a per-engagement basis for completed interactions (paid per question answered). Compensation may vary depending on the type of interaction. Payments are issued on a monthly basis. There are no fees to apply or join the platform.
Greater earning potential is available for those with phone availability.
Qualifications
• Minimum 2 years of technical customer service experience
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Experience handling billing, account, or cancellation-related inquiries
• Ability to navigate multiple vendor platforms
• Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
Preferred (Not Required):
• Experience with chat and phone-based customer support
• Prior experience in remote or gig-based roles
